  • I am located in Chapel Hill. However, since I am a virtual practice I serve all over North Carolina.

  • No, my practice is 100% online providing telehealth sessions. If you are hesitant or unsure about online therapy, I understand! I highly recommend you schedule a free consultation call with me to see if online therapy with me is a good fit. I will answer your questions and discuss any concerns you may have. I want you to be comfortable. Generally speaking, online therapy is just as effective as in-person therapy.

  • Although therapy is online, it will still be personal, confidential, and safe. Here’s the process:

    Once we have completed the consultation call and you decide to move forward, I will send you an invitation to my confidential platform, Simple Practice, to create a client portal where you will sign and complete intake paperwork, which is required 24 hours before the initial session.

    Through this platform, you will receive your link to our video session 24 and 48 hours before the session for reminders.

  • $160 for a clinical assessment (initial session)

    $130 for a 50-55 minute individual session

    $175 for 90-minute couples therapy (Please note: Couples therapy is out-of-pocket/self-pay services only)

    *I do offer sliding scale rates, though these slots are limited. Please contact me to inquire about any sliding scale availability and what arrangement will work best.*

  • Yes, I accept Aetna, Wellcare, Healthy Blue, United Healthcare Community Plan, AmeriHealth Caritas, and Optum United Healthcare.

  • Yes, with the last appointment being at 7 pm. I do offer weekend appointments depending on availability. I like to work with my clients so I will try my best to find a time that works for us both.

  • Your first session is the clinical assessment. During this session, I’ll ask a list of questions to get to know and understand you better to gain clarity about your concerns and goals. This establishes a foundation to work from for diagnosis, purpose of treatment, and goals.

  • Therapy is different for everyone. There is no certain answer because there are a lot of variables to consider. It will depend on your needs and treatment goals.
